If you watch enough movies the plot becomes so obvious within 15 minutes into the movie. There's nothing new to the storyline, the same 'military man- haunted past-lost family' stuff recycled in Hollywood over and over again. It'll certainly be entertaining for casual audience especially the younger generation. But there's nothing in the movie apart from the visuals. I'd even say the plot is worse than expected. Motivation for the kidnapping doesn't make any kind of sense at all. Money? Come on, seriously?
And then there's the plot armor, main character vs main character drama etc.
